Week in Review

Monday - Keynote Speaker, Tom Carnahan

The week began with a presentation about the dynamics and future of wind energy.  Tom Carnahan, President of the Wind Capital Group addressed a full house in Violette Hall.

Tuesday - Pitch It!

Students were presented with the opportunity to receive feedback on their business plans from local entrepreneurs and the Missouri Rural Enterprise and Innovation Center.
 

 
Wednesday - Entrepreneurial Alum

David Orscheln, OIX trucking and other enterprises talked to students about how to start their own businesses; including financing, management, and cash flow.
 

Thursday - Innovation Expo

From the large to the small, students with global businesses showed off their wares at the Expo in the Student Union.

Friday - Go Green You Tube Competition Ends

The week culminated with judging of the Go-Green-You Tube video competition and trash can decorating contest.  The winning entry for the You Tube can be found at the right.
