2009 Outstanding Educator Award
At its June 2009 Annual Convention, the Missouri Society of Certified Public Accountants (MSCPA) presented its Impact Awards to recognize CPAs who have demonstrated a commitment to excellence in their profession.
Dr. Debra Kerby, Professor of Accounting at Truman State University, was awarded the 2009 Outstanding Educator Award. The Outstanding Educator Award recognizes Professor Kerby’s distinguished contributions to classroom teaching, motivating students, educational innovation, and active involvement in the CPA profession.
Currently, Dr. Kerby serves on the MSCPA’s Centennial Celebration and LEAP (Lead and Enhance the Accounting Profession) Committees.
