Truman is Missouri’s only public university with “highly selective” admission standards. We’re the place where the best and the brightest students gather to learn from each other and from a remarkable faculty. While we offer a select few graduate programs, our undergrads pretty much rule here. And since our undergrads are the best and brightest, we focus our resources on you, offering you research opportunities like our Undergraduate Scholars Program, professional internships with many of the same employers who love to recruit Truman students (Click here to see a list of our top recruiters), and the chance to study abroad at more than 500 institutions or gain a world view in our Europe in Transition program. These are the same types of opportunities and experiences that other universities offer their graduate students. We just offer them a little earlier.

Truman is Missouri’s designate liberal arts and sciences university. That just means that we offer you an education that prepares you for far more than just a job.
