As the old saying goes, “the proof is in the pudding.” Well, our pudding has to be our alumni – all of those who have come and gone before you with one thing in common: Truman State University. In general, we have three great claims to our business and accounting alumni fame:
1. If you think you’re
interested in an accounting degree, why not come here to get it? The fact
that our graduates have ranked among the top 15 schools in the nation for
passing all parts of the CPA exam on the first attempt for four of the past
six years means that if you earn your degree here, chances are excellent that you’ll pass all four parts of the exam on your first try.
2. If you’re a business major, you’ll take a test your senior year called the “Major Field Test in Business.” Our students consistently score in the
top five percent in the nation on that test. Not bad. 3. And we’re one of only 167 schools in the entire world accredited in both business and accounting by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (a.k.a. AACSB International). Since the AACSB is the world’s most preferred and recognized accrediting agencies of even the largest business schools in the world, that’s nothing to sneeze at either. |
